How this VAT calculator works
Use Add VAT when you have a net amount and want the total including VAT. Use Remove VAT when you know the gross figure and want the pre-VAT value. Use Extract VAT to see exactly how much VAT is contained within a gross total.
Add VAT: Gross = Net x (1 + VAT rate)
Remove VAT: Net = Gross / (1 + VAT rate)
Extract VAT: VAT = Gross x rate / (100 + rate)
