Started with hands-on problem solving
SharkyWeb began with practical technical work: helping people and small organisations fix problems, understand their options and get technology working reliably.
SharkyWeb has grown from practical, sleeves-rolled-up technical support into a company focused on delivering complete end-to-end IT solutions, giving organisations a single trusted partner for their technology needs.
Today the company supports organisations in Cornwall and delivers suitable projects remotely across the UK. SharkyWeb Ltd is registered in England (company number 8506399), with its registered office in Taunton, Somerset; no separate Cornwall office is claimed.
The early work was broad because clients needed broad help: slow machines, websites, email, hosting, networks, servers, advice and the occasional odd request that did not fit neatly into a service box. That variety became useful experience. It showed which problems keep coming back, which systems genuinely help, and where small organisations most often need a calm technical partner.
SharkyWeb did not start by chasing a fashionable niche. The current focus came from years of seeing what organisations actually struggle with.
SharkyWeb began with practical technical work: helping people and small organisations fix problems, understand their options and get technology working reliably.
Over time the work grew from individual fixes into websites, systems, data, hosting, business support and the sort of awkward integrations that sit behind everyday operations.
That experience shaped the current focus: Microsoft 365, bespoke applications, legacy integrations and support for the systems SharkyWeb helps put in place.
Today, SharkyWeb is deliberately more focused. The company is still practical and approachable, but the work is centred on the areas where that experience creates the most value.
A long service list can make a company look busy, but it does not always help clients understand what to ask for. SharkyWeb now groups the work into clearer areas: Microsoft 365 licensing and management, bespoke application development, legacy integrations, and support around the systems delivered. It is a simpler way to describe the same underlying promise: useful technology, explained clearly and built around the way people actually work.
Whether you already know what you need or just want to talk through the shape of a problem, a conversation is usually the best place to start.
